Franchising FAQs
What support will I receive?
The Support and Training teams are available to advise and provide a support network for our Partners. This ensures we all achieve our goals, our consumer expectations and the Brand Standards. In order to ensure Partners achieve Brand Standards, Puccino’s have a number of services and support tools available.
The type of services and tools we offer are:
– Brand Inductions
– Barista Workshops
– Business Reviews
– Regular Audits
– Mystery Shopper Program
How long is the Franchise Agreement?
The standard Franchise Term is 5 years. A Franchisee has the right to apply to renew for a further term subject to being compliant with the terms of the franchise.
If a location has a longer lease period, then Puccino’s will consider granting a longer Franchise term from the onset.
How much is the entrance fee?
£15,000.
How much does it cost to open a store?
Costs can vary and are dependent on the location and lease costs, however the usual cost for a Coffee Bar is between £100,000 and £250,000 net.
How much money will I need?
You will be required to have a minimum of £100,000 available funds. This contribution can include funds available in cash or through financing options. We understand that investment sources may vary, and we welcome applicants who can meet this requirement through a combination of personal capital, loans, or other financial means.
How much is the royalty payment?
The royalty is 8% of gross sales, payable monthly.
What’s my ROI? (return on investment)
This will depend on a number of factors, such as how you treat your assets in your accounts. Typically, franchise partners look to recover their initial investment over a 3 or 5 year period.
Do you have a Marketing fee?
Whilst there is a marketing fee of 2% of gross sales calculated into the Franchise Contract, we do not currently charge a set fee. Marketing contributions are calculated on a location by location basis and will also cover the cost of the development and print of promotional materials.
Can I sell my franchise?
We hope to partner for many years, but circumstances can change, therefore your contract does allow for a resale of the franchise. Any potential buyer must be approved by Puccino’s.
